The Noosa Festival of Surfing is widely considered as the most iconic event on the international longboarding calendar. As iconic as the festival itself is the Thomas Surfboards party that happens to kick things off each year. This years party not only marked the start of what would be an unreal week of waves and good times, but also the grand opening of the brand new Thomas surfboards factory, gallery, office, barber and plaza of anything that’s really cool. With live music from Dear Doonan, Goodbye Jim and Zodiac Love Bone, the gallery opening of ‘Misspent Adulthood’, four radical surf films showing and a caravan full of ice cold Vonu’s, this party could only be one of best – and it was. Cheers Thomas, we will be raving about this one all the way through to next years!
